Requirements
For Obtaining Egyptian Birth Certificate
To be eligible for an Egyptian Birth Certificate, a proof
of citizenship of the father is required like valid Egyptian
passport or ID.
The following is required:
•Original birth certificate.
•Copy of the valid father's Egyptian passport or ID.
•Copy of the mother's passport, if the mother is Egyptian .
•Copy of the marriage certificate of the parents.
3. The Consulate will send all these documents to the Ministry of interior
in Egypt which issues the birth certificate and send it back to
the consulate.
4. The process will take approximately four weeks.
5. We follow the past procedures if the child age is less than 16 years now,
if he/she is over 16 years we have to issue a passport
or him/her first after get the approval of Egyptian authorities
then we follow the past mentioned procedures.
