Shipping Of Deceased Egyptian

1. Proof of the deceased Egyptian nationality (i.e. Egyptian passport,     identification card etc....)

2. The cause of death is not a contagious disease.

3. The consulate legalizes all the required papers for free.

4. To obtain a permit to ship the human remains to Egypt the     following documents must be submitted to the consulate:
    •The Egyptian passport of the deceased person.
    •Certificate indicating the body does not have a contagious      disease.
    •Hospital certificate
    •Certificate of embalming and sealed metal casket.

5. Upon receiving the above document, the consulate translates the     death certificate into Arabic, legalizes the past mentioned     documents and issues a permit to ship the human remains to     Egypt.
